How I Drive Traffic To My Site. Part 2 Who Knows SEO?
Most peple know that SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Simply put, it refers to ways one can make a web site easy for the search engines to recognize. As I mentioned in Part one, Wordpress blogs are designed to be search engine friendly.
One of the ways to make a blog even more attractive to search rngines is to install a simple plugin called All-In-One-SEO Pack. You can find this plugin by clicking on “Plugins” which is located on the right of your dashboard next to “Settings”. This will take you the Plugin Management” page where you will see active and inactive plugins. Scroll down that page to a section called “Get More Plugins”. Click on the link “Wordpress Plugin Directory”. On the next page there is a column on the right headed “Most Popular”. You will find the All-In-One-Seo Pack listed there. Click on “All-In-One-SEP Pack” and follow the directions for downloading the plugin to your computer.
The next step is to extract the files in the zipped file then using your FTP Transfer program upload the All-In-One-Seo folder to your plugin directory in your Wordpress blog. When this complete, go back to the Plugin Management page and you should see the All-In-One-SEO Pack listed under “Inactive Plugins”. You can now activate the plugin for use on your blog.
Now, when you open your settings page you will see the All-In-One-SEO Pack listed. Click on it and fill in the information required such as the title of your blog, your tagline, ie description of your site, and some keywords or key phrases that relate to your blog. The rest of the page should stay the way it is already arranged.
Congratulations! You have just optimized your site for the search engines.Part 3 coming soon.

I have used this plugin by the way, I used it on another blog, as its supposed to be very useful and produce real results. I havent installed it on chelseafilan.com YET, but thanks for reminding me lol..

Hi Jose,

I love your article. It is very informative, and helpful. And you are totally right, All-In-One-SEO Pack is a great plug-in to add to your blog. It was one of the first plug-ins that I added to my site and I have been very happy with the results.

I have had an interesting question on my blog from a guy asking how to use categories and tags to improve his SEO.
I gave a full detailed reply to the best of my knowledge but i don’t feel i have the best understanding of WordPress, as it is still quite new to me.
I think i am getting to grips with tags and categories to help my SEO and page rank, indeed i understand that http://Alanneath.com has a Google rank of 2 right now, if you can check that and confirm, then i will know i am providing accurate information when replying to questions on my blog !

I’ve heard that Alex Jeffreys is launching a new Coaching Program this week but it will be very expensive?
Why would you recommend Alex as a coach rather than other people like Michael Cheney, or Rich Schefren?
Been following Alex for a while now and enjoyed ‘The Gurus Dream’.
Have you made any money since you did Alex’s Coaching.

Hi Jose
Very interesting blogs. I am visiting lots of sites and love what I am reading on most of them I am new to IM and have gatherin as much information as I can.
As you see my name is Sue McDonald and I live in Australia. I am at present doing the Newbie course with Mark Terrell who originally did the course with Alex a few years ago.
It’s interesting learning and like everyone that starts these types of courses we all want to make money and have more time to ourselves.
